Deborah Miller has been interested in sewing since she was a young girl. She learned to sew from her mother and grandmothers. In her teens she began making comforters and was always interested in learning how to do patchwork quilting. Deborah took her first quilting class in 2000 and has continued to take classes and attend workshops to advance her skills. She is a member of County Crossroads Quilters Guild in Modesto, CA and the Northern California Quilt Council.
As a graphic artist and editor by trade, Deborah has enjoyed using bold colors and designs to create quilts that are unique. Circles, squares, and triangles are her favorite shapes to work with to make quilt tops, finding limitless combinations and designs. She has learned to quilt using a long arm machine, and also does free motion quilting on her domestic sewing machine. Quilting has brought much joy to her life.
Deborah has been married nearly 40 years to David. They have three grown children and three grandchildren. Deborah has many interests including crafting, cooking, entertaining, music, football, and fishing.
